Provisional Admission through Counselling

A candidate does not become eligible for admission solely based on his/her marks in the Qualifying Examination and/ having scored the minimum percentage in the various segments of Admission Test.

The provisional list of selected candidates for admission to the various programmes offered by the University, from among those who have been successful in the Admission Test, shall be compiled through the process of counselling.

Eligibility to Appear for Counselling:
  • The eligibility of candidates to appear in for Counselling shall be declared in their respective categories, based on the declarations made by the candidates in their application forms, which shall be purely provisional in nature. Therefore, the candidates are advised to fill-in the Admission Application Form with care.
  • If a candidate claims that he/she belongs to a reserved category in the Admission Application Form but fails to submit documents supporting the claim to the satisfaction of the University at the time of admission, then his/her Provisional Selection to that category shall stand cancelled automatically.
  • The provisionally selected candidates shall be required to undergo a Medical Test to be conducted by the University. The final list of selected candidates shall be made based on the basis of the list of medically fit students submitted by a panel of doctors constituted by the University for the purpose.
