1. Who can be a member of the Library?

Ans: Registered Members like Students, Faculty Members, Administrative Officers, Staff Members of NSU.

2. How many books can be borrowed by the Members?

  • Students (4)
  • Faculty Members/ Officers  (6)
  • Staff Members (4)

3. Can I borrow Reference Books, Journals or Magazines?

Ans: No, We never issue Reference Books, Journals or Magazines outside library.

4. Can I suggest a purchase of book for Library?

Ans: Yes, you can suggest book purchase for Library.

5. How can I access Library Digital Portal?

Ans: The users can access NSU Library digital portal through university main website (https://www.nsu.ac.in).

6. What can we search from WEB OPAC?

Ans: Web OPAC (Open Public Access Catalogue) is search engine for finding any catalogue information of documents of NSU Library. We can search Library database available in the library through Computer as well as smart mobile phone.

7. How can I access Digital Library Resources?

Ans: To access Digital Library Services and Resources, members need to get login from their Library. Members will get registered themselves in their library and then will be given Login credential from Library in the member mail. Credential incudes Member No., Password, Cluster Name and Library Name.

8. How can I use Digital Repository and which types of learning resources are accessible?

Ans: NSU Digital Repository has rich collection of different types of e-learning resources like previous years university question papers, all courses syllabus, faculty research articles, Newspapers Clipping. Access of digital repository is allowed only for registered members of NSU. The library users can receive login/password from the NSU Library for access.

9. What is e-Granthalaya Android Application?

Ans: e-Granthalaya Android Application is a good online learning mobile application which provides the facility of Library resources, Digital learning resources, Transactions history, Open Access Resources.

10. How can I download e-Granthalaya Android App. for access digital learning resources?

Ans: Library Users can download this app from Google play store.

The following steps must be helpful for downloading this application:

  • I. Selection of Cluster Name- Govt. University Libraries.
  • II. Name of the Library- NSULibrary.
  • III. Library Members ID.

After successful completing these steps, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile no. then verified. Now you will able to access digital learning resources.

 

11. Is it possible to access others digital resources through this portal?

Ans: Yes, library users can access others digital resources through Useful Links module in which National/International digital learning portal have linked like National Digital Library of India, World e-books library, etc.
