AIM:

To motivate the students and coordinating them to carry out extra-curricular activities through various departmental clubs and other clubs in the college.

Student Welfare Office will provide a platform for students to exhibit their skills and talents, for organisisng cultural activities and develop leadership skills

  • The University expects 100% attendance from the students in each subject/activity/area of the total curriculum.
  • If a student has to be absent from class by availing leave on grounds like medical, social engagements, personal, etc., a relaxation of 15% shall be given.
  • In exceptional and deserving cases, the competent authority may grant further relaxation not exceeding 10% in attendance.
  • The students shall ensure that he/she has at least 85% attendance, at least one month prior to the date of commencement of semester examinations.

    Students pursuing studies at the University are expected to be familiar with the Rules and Regulations provided in the Admission Prospectus as well as those in the Student Handbook.

  • Students shall conduct themselves in an exemplary manner so as to be a model for other students.
  • All students should strictly adhere to the Rules and Regulations of the University.
  • All students should be present for classes (activity & theory) on all working days and sincerely apply themselves to studies.
  • Students should attend classes regularly and punctually so as to fulfill the attendance requirement of 75% as prescribed by the University, to be eligible to appear for the University examinations.
  • The Campus is “Tobacco Free” and “Alcohol Free. Any violation of this will result in dismissal from the programme.
  • Use of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are not permitted in classrooms, examination halls, faculty premises, and at the venue of programmes organised by the University.
  • Students are forbidden from using motorized vehicles, including powered two-wheelers, inside the Campus.
  • Students are advised to visit notice boards set up at different places in the Campus, regularly to know about matters pertaining to academics and other activities.
