How to Apply
The Admission Application Form and Prospectus may be downloaded online from the website of www.yas.nic.in or can be purchased from the NSU Office located at Manipur Olympic House, Khuman Lampak, Imphal during working days (Monday to Friday) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate who wishes to apply for any of the programmes offered by NSU, Manipur may read the eligibility criteria and general conditions for admission and satisfy him/herself about his/her eligibility to apply before purchasing Admission Application Form.
Note:
The cost of Application Form for Admission will not be reimbursed.
Purchase of Application Form
The cost of the Admission Application Form is Rs. 300/-. The Applicant can pay in the following ways:

Downloading Application Form from the Website: Downloaded Application Form along with demand draft of Rs. 300 payable to the registrar, National Sports University, Imphal OR by transferring the amount to the bank account of NSU by RTGS in the name of National Sports University, Account No. 073201000032372, IFSC Code : IOBA0000732.

Purchase Prospectus: Admission Application Form along with the Prospectus may also be purchased from the Khuman Lampak Campus of NSU, Imphal, Manipur by paying cash or submitting a Demand Draft* for Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, National Sports University, Imphal.

Filling in the Application Form
Downloaded / Application form of prospectus, all candidates should fill it up completely. Reservation categories, relevant documents must be checked and filled up.
Incomplete Application Forms
Please ensure that the Application Form is filled appropriately Details of e-mail and mobile number of candidates must be filled correctly.
Submission of Application Form
Duly filled-in Admission Application Form along with a copy of fee receipt shall be sent to The Registrar, NSU, Khuman Lampak, Imphal. The completed application forms should reach on or before 4:00 p.m. on 15th July, 2018. Application forms may either be submitted in person at NSU on by speed post.

Admission and Reservations

The University is co-educational and admits candidates who are citizens of India. For admission to any programme offered by NSU, the reservation policy of the Government of India, as given below, shall be applicable.

International Athletes & Achievers
International athletes are eligible for Direct Admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by NSU. The candidates should have participated in Olympic, Asian & Commonwealth Games and World Championship, in the disciplines available in Olympic, Asian & Commonwealth Games.

Note:

  • Sports Certificate of Invitational/Memorial/Open/Prize Money League/Ranking Competitions will not be considered.
  • Merit/Participation Sports Certificate of preceding three years, i.e., from 1st May 2015 to 30th April 2018 will only be considered for the current academic session.
  • Applicants are required to upload self-attested copies of three Merit/Participation Sports Certificates.
  • Only the highest Merit/Participation Sports Certificate will be considered for granting weightage.
Women Candidates
Married girl is eligible for admission.In the event of a married student conceiving during the course, she shall discontinue her studies for at least one academic year she may re-join the same course afresh from the beginning of the semester she had discontinued her studies, provided the University guidelines pertaining to the maximum duration of the course is adhered to.Under no circumstances will she be permitted to keep the infant along with her in the Hostel.
