The eligibility criteria that are common to the undergraduate programmes offered by NSU are enumerated below:
- Essential: The Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) scheme of examination or
any other equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
- 45% aggregate marks for UR, EWS, OBC categories, Kashmiri Migrants & Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri
Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir valley.
- 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST category.
- Desirable Qualification: Represented the country in Olympic Games/World Championship/ World
Cup/Commonwealth Games/Asian Games/Asia Cup/Asian Championship/ Championship Trophy/ SAF
Games/ World University Games/ Khelo India/ SGFI and other championship organized by International
Federations/Associations and funded by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS)/Indian Olympic
Association (IOA) /National Federations/Associations recognized by the International body of the game. As
per their sports achievement, the candidates get a score which is mentioned in ANNEXURE-C of the Prospectus
